ANIMAL SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS

We love animals and we love our pets, but even so, all too often,  humans and animals find themselves in very unfortunate circumstances:  abused, homeless, in hoarding conditions, or in high-kill shelters.  Sometimes our animals become very sick and their families need help caring for them, financially and/or with practical advice.

While there are many equally-worthy organizations, below are five of my favorites.  (If you click on the images their web sites will open in a new browser tab.)
